Public Engagement and Education Officer (IRB)

IRB Barcelona is a self-standing, non-profit institution devoted to basic and applied biomedical research. It was set up in 2005 jointly by the Government of Catalonia and the University of Barcelona and is located at the Barcelona Science Park. The institute currently has more than 430 members (scientific, technical and administrative staff) from all over the world, who work across disciplines to advance research in the biomedical sciences.

COMMUNICATION OFFICER at BGSMath

BGSMath (www.bgsmath.cat) is a collaborative initiative of the research groups in mathematics of four public universities located in the Barcelona area: Universitat de Barcelona (UB), Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), and an international research centre, Centre de Recerca Matemàtica (CRM), member of the CERCA network. Its primary objective is to provide doctoral and postdoctoral training at the highest level in an international environment. BGSMath became a  ‘Unit of Excellence Maria de Maeztu´ in 2015.

Press Officer at EMBL, Heidelberg

EMBL is looking for a Press Officer to coordinate international media activities and raise the organisation’s profile with the press worldwide.

As Press Officer you will work with a group of writers, designers, web producers and analysts in our Strategy and Communications team, promoting the work of EMBL at its six sites in Europe. We are an international, friendly and supportive team, with ties to scientists and professionals throughout EMBL and to the broader science communication community. This role is based in Heidelberg, Germany.
