You combine your background in biomedical science with your journalism skills by translating scientific papers and research results from our Key Opinion Leaders into easy readable and to-the-point stories for the EATRIS website and other EATRIS communication material. You are able to write both in lay-men language and on a scientific level but manage to make scientific complex matters simple and easy to read.

BioMedBridges activities:

BioMedBridges is an initiative of EBI – European Bio informatics Institutes, Hinxton, UK that aims to construct the e-infrastructure to allow interoperability between data and services in the biological, medical, translational and clinical domains. It will provide the computational ‘data and service’ bridges between the individual biological and medical sciences (BMS) research infrastructures (RIs) in Europe.

The communication assistant will support the EATRIS communications manager in the execution of the work package on stakeholder definition and stratification of the different BMS Ris and the execution of the inreach and outreach plans.
